Veterans' Day 2008

Yesterday America celebrated the 233 anniversary of the official formation of the United States Marine Corps and today we observe Veterans' Day on the anniversary of the Armistice that ended World War I.

To our enlisted men and women, and all who have served us throughout our nation's history, our profound thanks.
